Yusuf Doma

Yusuf Doma, FCA, is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, risk management, and corporate governance. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He began his professional career at Akintola Williams Deloitte Chartered Accountants, where he worked from 2003 to 2009, gaining extensive experience in audit engagements across the financial services, oil and gas, manufacturing, and service sectors.

From 2009 to 2015, he served as Business Unit Controller and Tax Manager at Ashaka Cement Plc (Lafarge Africa), where he played a key role in financial control, tax management, and business performance. He also worked as an Audit Manager at Muhtari Dangana & Co., Chartered Accountants, overseeing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Between 2017 and 2025, Yusuf served as the Head of Internal Audit at Premium Pension Limited, providing independent assurance to the Board and Management on the effectiveness of the organisation’s internal control systems, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance processes.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme (SMP 73) at the Lagos Business School (LBS).
