Adewole Bamigbaye
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Adewole Bamigbaye is the Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer of Centrum Finance Company Limited, a Financial Services Company in Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. He joined the company in March 2022. Prior to Centrum Finance, Adewole worked at LFC & Associates from July 2019 as an Associate Director responsible for Financial Advisory, Audit & Assurance, Tax Advisory, Internal Control & Compliance Implementation. Adewole Bamigbaye also previously worked as a Senior Manager at ATACOFF Services LLP. He joined the firm in 2010 as the pioneer Head of Finance, responsible for Final Accounts, Tax Advisory, Financial Audit, Internal Control System of the firm.
Wole is a Chartered Accountant with more than two decades’ experience spanning the financial services industry, construction industry, oil and gas and public sector transactions. In recent times, he led many Reporting assignments of consulting firms in various public and private sector entities. Prominent among them was being the Lead Auditor on the team of five (5) independent auditors that carried out Assets Verification of Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), with respect to the legacy assets acquired from Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC)’s divestment assets on Oil Mining Licenses (OMLs) 26, 30, 34, 40 and 42 located in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria. He also led LFC & Associates team on the audit of Bank charges assignment for NNPC.
He led the audit team that conducted the specialized audit of Staff Loans of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), that resolved associated challenges with the loan reporting process and documentation with regards to data integrity and discrepancies between the records of the staff loan balances on the accounting software (The SunSystem) which is the General ledger (GL) of the Corporation and the Human Resources Loan Management software. He was also on the team that carried out the audit of Techno Brain West Blue Limited, an IT Company in Abuja. He has also been on many Tax advisory services for various Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) clientele of the firm. Prior to joining ATACOFF, he worked with Kunle Egbeleke & Co. He was the Project Finance Manager of LEEL & LIAB Construction in Abuja.
He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Veritas University and the University of Lagos respectively. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He has attended and facilitated various professional courses/trainings and workshops locally and internationally, especially in Ghana, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK).
